Here you will find the original recipe of our precious and tasty “Castagnaccio”. A dessert of our Tuscan tradition with chestnuts at the base.
Let’s start now!
400 gr of sweet flour
100 gr of raisins
50 gr of pine nuts
6 walnuts in small pieces
Rosemary, 2 tablespoons of sugar
Salt and olive oil
Sift the flour into a bowl
Add the sugar, salt and half a liter of cold water
Work everything well until it becomes a smooth and liquid batter
Grease a pan and pour the 1 finger high porridge
Sprinkle with raisins, walnuts, rosemary, pine nuts and oil
Bake for 40 minutes
